Call for paper abstracts

Abstracts will be accepted from December 11 to March 10, 2024, and can be sent for evaluation in the paper submission area.

We encourage you to share your research and reflections, making our meeting even more enriching, diverse and inclusive. Accepted papers are expected to be announced on March 27, 2024.

The work submitted to the X Latin American Congress of Semiotics must include an abstract with 250 to 300 words. In this space, the discussions of the research should be presented concisely, with the theme, objectives, methodology and main conclusions or results. Remember to submit an abstract in accordance with the template (in .doc or .docx format). The thematic axes of call for papers are intended to demonstrate the breadth and scope expected of the work to be submitted.

Abstracts will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian or French. It is recommended that presentations include slides in the language of submission and a translation in English. Undergraduate students are encouraged to submit paper abstracts in collaboration with master's, PhD students, or scholars.

The X Latin American Congress of Semiotics is an exclusively face-to-face event. Registration can be done before or after the abstract has been accepted. For foreigners, payment is facilitated through PayPal, accessible through the registration and submission platform. Only the abstract is required for submission, there is no need to send the full text.
